Richard Hayes - Senior Environmental Impact Analyst

Richard Hayes holds a BSc in Physics and Computer Science as well as qualifications at Masters Level in Electrical Engineering and a certificate in Farm Forestry. Starting as an entrepreneur in the emerging information technology sector Richard owned a number of successful businesses in New ealand and Australia in the 1980's. After selling these he moved into property and has become a significant investor in forestry in NZ and overseas. Founding Environmental Intermediaries & Trading Group Limited in 1995 he foresaw the need for carbon trading. Now Environmental ntermediaries & Trading Group Limited spans most of the globe with offices and partners in Australia, Asia, Europe and Africa. Specialists in the Kyoto protocol and forest based carbon sinks EITG also is involved in renewables and biofuels via its various joint ventures. Richard Joined the team at Tsakounis Global after working closely with Mr Dennis Cooney in 2007.
